About the role

You will own technical delivery from story refinement and development through testing, release preparation and production deployment support. Working alongside a functional consultant and a ServiceNow architect, you will build maintainable solutions aligned with platform best practices. You will be trusted to challenge requirements that could affect performance, security or upgradeability, and propose practical alternatives.

01What you will do

  • 01Build scoped applications, business rules, script includes and client scripts that survive upgrades.
  • 02Design Flow Designer and IntegrationHub flows in place of custom script where the platform allows.
  • 03Review peers’ update sets and keep instance health scores where they should be.
  • 04Pair with consultants in client workshops to turn process into a buildable backlog.

02What you bring

  • 01Five or more years building on ServiceNow, with at least three full implementations behind you.
  • 02Strong server- and client-side JavaScript, and a working knowledge of GlideRecord performance.
  • 03ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD), or the experience to pass it quickly.
  • 04Comfort explaining a technical trade-off to a non-technical stakeholder.

03Nice to have

  • 01Service Portal or UI Builder (Next Experience) work in production.
  • 02Exposure to ATF and an automated release pipeline.
